Engagement

These terms apply to any engagement between JVR Effective Tricks and a client unless a separately signed agreement says otherwise. Each project is governed by a written statement of work describing scope, milestones, fees, and acceptance criteria.

Quotes and fees

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Fees are stated in the agreed currency. All quoted fees are inclusive of the work described in the associated statement of work, but exclude third-party costs such as paid media, hosting, stock, or premium licenses unless explicitly included.

Payment

Invoices are due within 14 days of issue unless otherwise stated. Late payment may pause active work until the balance is cleared.

Intellectual property

On receipt of full payment, ownership of the deliverables produced specifically for the project transfers to the client, except for elements we license from third parties, which remain under their respective licenses. We retain the right to reference completed work in our portfolio.

Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared during the engagement. We will not disclose client information except where required by law or as needed to perform the work (e.g. with our hosting or tooling vendors under equivalent confidentiality obligations).

Liability

Our liability is limited to the fees paid under the relevant statement of work. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for damages arising from third-party platforms or tools.

Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement with 30 days' written notice. Fees for work completed up to the termination date become immediately payable.
