A small, senior studio that ships.
JVR Effective Tricks is a digital studio doing web development, software, social media, and video. We're deliberately small so the people you talk to are the people doing the work — across the whole project, every time.
We work on the work, not the org chart.
The studio started in 2016 with a single conviction: most digital projects fail at the seams — between strategy and design, design and code, code and marketing. We closed those gaps by putting senior people on every one of them.
Today, that's still the model. You meet the same three or four people on kickoff that you see at launch. No account managers, no sub-contracted dev teams, no surprises about who's actually doing the work.
Do work that ships and earns its keep.
Our mission is to make every project measurably better than the last — for our clients and for the people they serve. We do that by keeping the work visible, the people accountable, and the standard honest.
Be the studio teams call when the work has to land.
We want to be the first call for teams that can't afford a slow launch, a misread scope, or a vendor relationship that quietly stops working. A small studio that earns that trust through every project, not a marketing budget that pretends to.
Five values we hold each other to.
Innovation
We try new things where they earn their keep, not for novelty.
Quality
Work as if a senior you've never met will inherit it tomorrow.
Transparency
No silent work, no silent scope changes, no silent handovers.
Collaboration
Your team is in the build, not at the end of a long email chain.
Client success
A project ships when it earns results — not when the invoice clears.
We solve the seams between teams and tools.
Most digital work doesn't fail at the hard part — it fails at the handoffs. Strategy that design doesn't know about. Code that marketing doesn't see until launch. A CMS nobody on your team can use without filing a ticket.
We exist to close those gaps by keeping one senior team across the whole project. The result is work that holds up past launch day — and a client team that can keep going without us when they want to.
The people you'll actually talk to.
Ava Lindqvist

Sofia Ramos
Plans and runs social and content across clients. Sofia wrote for an editor before she planned for one.
Kenji Tanaka
Owns video editing pipeline and motion graphics. Kenji colors every cut, every time.
